Overview

About VirtuGF

Key takeaways

  • Verdict: below our bar at 4.8 out of 10.
  • Best for: People who already live in Telegram and want a companion inside their existing chat list.
  • Free tier: none. You pay before you use it.
  • Biggest strength: Runs inside Telegram, nothing extra to install.
  • Biggest catch: No pricing published anywhere on the website.

What VirtuGF is

VirtuGF delivers fictional AI companions through Telegram instead of a standalone app. Users customise appearance, body type, ethnicity, age range and personality, then chat by text and voice with generated images and video. Operated by VirtuAI; pricing is shown inside the Telegram bot and is not published on the website.

Privacy and data

Privacy scores 3.5 out of 10 here, read off the published policy rather than the marketing page.

  • There is no self-serve account deletion.
  • Chats cannot be deleted once sent.
  • Signup is not anonymous.
  • A phone number is required to register.
  • Conversations are not retained.
  • Your data is not used for model training.

Policy lists names, phone numbers, emails, usernames, billing addresses and card numbers, plus IP, device and location data. Shares with Stripe, analytics, cloud providers, ad networks and marketing tools. Deletion is by request, not self-serve, and some data may be retained afterwards. Silent on chat-log storage and on model training. Access requires a Telegram account, which requires a phone number.

Content and safety policy

  • Characters are stated to be fictional adults only.
  • There is an age gate on entry.

Source: their published terms.

How the filter behaves in a live conversation is a separate question, and one only a hands-on session can answer.

Who should skip it

Anyone who wants to see prices before signing up, avoid giving a phone number, or delete their account themselves.

Best for: People who already live in Telegram and want a companion inside their existing chat list.

The verdict

Pros and cons

What we liked

  • Runs inside Telegram, nothing extra to install
  • Detailed character customisation (appearance, body type, ethnicity, age range, personality)
  • Voice notes plus generated images and video in chat
  • Adult content openly permitted, with 18+ framing
  • Operator name and contact address published

What could improve

  • No pricing published anywhere on the website
  • Telegram signup means a phone number is unavoidable, so no anonymous use
  • Privacy policy collects billing, phone and location data and shares with ad networks
  • Account deletion is by request only, with some data retained afterwards
  • No statement on whether chats are stored or used for training
  • No native iOS or Android app

Bottom line

5.3Editorial score

Final verdict

VirtuGF makes one clear bet: your AI girlfriend should live in Telegram, not in another app you have to install. If that is how you already message, it is a genuinely low-friction way in, and the character customisation and voice notes are the expected standard. Two things stop us scoring it higher, and both are about what you cannot see. Prices are only revealed inside the bot, so there is no way to compare cost before you start; and the privacy policy collects a lot (phone number, billing details, location) while staying silent on whether your conversations are stored. Deletion also runs through a support request rather than a button. Fine for casual Telegram-first use, but go in knowing you are handing over a phone number and finding out the price later.

Not ideal for: Anyone who wants to see prices before signing up, avoid giving a phone number, or delete their account themselves.
