What it is
A serialised product, not a generator
Two things make Shorts unusual. The first is format: each series runs as vertical episodes watched in sequence, closer to a serialised drama than the loose image and clip generation most adult AI tools ship.
The second is who appears in them. A large share are built with named creators rather than anonymous generated faces, which is a very different proposition to the look-alike output we mark other tools down for.

Candy splits the library three ways: Candy Creators, series built with named creators; Candy characters, its own house cast; and Other characters. On top sit content filters, which is the quickest way to find what you want:

Shorts is not sold separately. It sits inside the Candy AI subscription, so the price you pay is the app price. There is no per episode purchase and no separate Shorts tier.
That matters for the maths. If Shorts is the only reason you are subscribing, you are paying the full Candy AI price for it and not using the chat product. If you already wanted the companion chat, Shorts is included at no extra cost.

The creator question
Why credited talent matters here
Most of the catalogue is credited to a named creator: Mia Malkova on Private Lessons, Softbunny on UNDER HER ARMOR, Sp00kybby on Pine Ridge: Hidden Secrets, and so on. Candy files these under a Candy Creators tab, which reads as a licensing arrangement rather than scraped likenesses.
We flag that deliberately. This directory marks tools down for real person imagery produced without consent, and a product built on named, credited talent sits on the opposite side of that line. We have not seen the contracts, so we describe what is published rather than certifying it. If you are choosing between adult AI video products on ethical grounds, credited talent is the thing to look for.
Verdict
Is it worth paying for
Candy AI scores 7.4 out of 10 in our directory, one of the higher marks we give. Shorts does not carry its own score because it is not sold separately, and scoring a feature twice would inflate the product.
Worth it if you want serialised adult video with recurring characters and you would use the chat product anyway. Harder to justify if you only want Shorts, because you are buying a companion app to get it.
Not ideal for: anyone expecting to buy single episodes, or hoping to watch without a subscription.
