Affiliate Disclosure

Last updated July 9, 2026

Transparency matters, so here is exactly how this site makes money. Some of the links on NSFWRating are affiliate links. If you click one and sign up or subscribe, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you.

How affiliate links work here

  • Outbound affiliate links are routed through a branded /go/ redirect and carry rel="sponsored nofollow", in line with search-engine guidance.
  • A small “Affiliate link” label appears near buttons that earn us a commission.
  • We only ever earn if you choose to sign up — the price you pay is never higher because you came through us.

Sponsored placements are separate from our scores

Some vendors may pay for a Sponsored placement or a featured slot. These are always clearly labeled and are kept completely separate from our editorial scores. Paying for placement does not buy a higher score, a better review, or removal of criticism. Our rankings are calculated from a transparent, weighted scoring methodology.

Our commitment

We recommend apps based on testing and research, not on commission rates. When an app is weak, we say so — including for apps we have an affiliate relationship with. If you ever feel a recommendation is not honest, please tell us.

This disclosure is provided in the spirit of the U.S. FTC endorsement guidelines and similar consumer-protection rules.
