What Sakura AI is

Sakura AI is a character-chat and AI roleplay platform operated by Sakura AI, LLC in Florida. It combines a large library of user-created AI characters with custom character creation, long-form roleplay and mature conversation.

Characters span anime, original characters, fantasy, romance, horror, dominant and submissive personalities, LGBTQ+ characters and other roleplay categories. Users can also create their own bots with a name, description, persona, scenario and opening message.

The paid Diamond tier introduces the Dragonfruit model, better memory and Fusion Mode. Infinite adds the stronger Glowing Dragonfruit model, Infinite Memory and immersive AI images. Sakura also has native iOS and Android apps alongside its browser version.

What it costs

Sakura has a free Sage tier with limited daily messages. Users who repeatedly reach the limit can apply for additional free messaging through Sakura's community program.

Diamond costs $19/month and removes the daily message cap. It adds the Dragonfruit model, stronger memory and Fusion Mode, which can produce different response styles for the same message.

Infinite costs $39/month and adds the Glowing Dragonfruit model, Infinite Memory, immersive image features and everything included with Diamond. Sakura also advertises roughly 40% savings when switching to annual billing.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. Paid subscription fees are generally non-refundable, although Sakura says individual refund requests may be considered case by case. App-store purchases follow the relevant store's refund rules.

Privacy and data

• Sakura collects account information, usage data, device information and technical identifiers.
• Payment card details are handled by payment processors rather than stored directly by Sakura.
• Personal data is retained for as long as necessary for service, legal, dispute and policy purposes; no fixed general deletion period is published.

• The Terms prohibit unlawful material, impersonation, privacy violations and other objectionable content.
• Sakura reserves the right to remove content or restrict accounts.
• The website Terms and public NSFW character library are not perfectly aligned: the Terms still contain broad language around obscene or objectionable content.
• The iOS App Store currently carries a 16+ rating, while Google Play lists Mature 17+; these store classifications differ from Sakura's website Terms requiring users to be over 18.

Sakura is clearly built for open-ended fictional roleplay, but its formal content documentation is less specific than the policies published by some newer adult AI platforms.
