Nomi lets users create multiple AI companions with custom backstories, preferences, personalities, and identities. Conversations can include friendship, romance, mentoring, fantasy roleplay, group chats, proactive messages, internet access, and image sharing. The service emphasizes emotional intelligence, short-, medium-, and long-term memory, unfiltered chats, voice messages and calls, and real-time selfies. It offers free sign-up without a credit card and provides Google Play and App Store apps.

Month to month runs $15.99. Paying for a year drops the effective rate to about $8.33 a month ($99.99 billed once), a saving of roughly 48%.
