What is DreamGen?

DreamGen is an AI story writer and role-play platform where you're the director. You pick the setting, cast the characters and set the rules, and the AI writes the scene with you.

There are two modes. Role-Play is a chat-style game where you can talk to several characters at once. Story mode is where the AI helps you write longer fiction, from fantasy quests to steamy fan-fiction.

You can play public scenarios from other users, build your own from scratch, or throw a one-line idea at the Scenario Wizard and let it build the world for you. It feels more like a choose-your-own-adventure book than a sexting bot.

DreamGen has a free tier that lets you try all its models and features, with limited daily and monthly credits. It's enough to test the vibe, but long, steamy sessions will burn through it fast.

Privacy & Data

DreamGen is better than most NSFW AI chat apps on privacy. Your private role-plays stay private by default, and you control the training switch.

  • Stories, role-plays, characters and settings are stored on your account so you can pick up where you left off.
  • Your chats are not used to train AI models unless you opt in. The setting is off by default.
